Car Insurance auto direct warning.

my car Insurance renewal due 24 july 2008
last year paid £230 cash for it. rang them 7th-july
and said that the company we dont deal with . so updated my details and quoke for £380 yes £380. lowered to £345
used few compair sites got it down to £290 would not lower to £290 or lower so said i will give you to 14th july to lower or i leave.
14th july come and letter in post from company they dont detail with for £283 all in.

i rang them to start the Insurance but guess what the quoke was sent in error. i spoke to manager dont give a poo , rang Insurance complaint line and said quoke are quokes that it , there only for ref use only that it.

so all BEWARE OF AUTO DIRECT.

there was good news i got my £290 quoke of compair site and docs in post today so happy.

oh AUTO DIRECT RANG ME today and lowered quoke to £344 i put the phone down rang me 20 times ....

Hopefully you have written to your present insurer and confirmed that you don't want to renew the existing policy, otherwise they may renew it automatically and debit your a/c or credit card accoringly

i told them that credit card was just for last year payment only . so will keep checking online to make sure thanks for quick update.

Do not rely on just telling them, put it in writing.

What do you mean when you say you don't deal with the company? Do you mean you didn't want the policy to renew?

they wanted to over charge me for it.
thay said they dont deal with the insure company im with @ moment ,
so tryed selling me another company for more money.
i say they sent a quoke with there auto direct letter head.
and named insure company they dont use any more.
