Is It Possable To Get Credit Card Insurance Back

HI IS IT POSSABLE TO CLAIM INSURANCE PAID TO LITTLEWOODS CREDIT CARD FOR CREDIT CARD PROTECTION
I WAS OFFERED A CREDIT CARD WHILE I WAS UNEMPLOYED BUT THEY SAID IT WOULD BE GOOD TO PAY CARD INSURANCE INCASE I GET IN FINANCISL DIFFICULTY SO I TOOK IT
AFTER ABOUT 2 YEARS WHEN IT CAME TO ME CLAIMING ON THE INSURANCE I PAID THEY SAID I WAS NOT ELIGABLE TO MAKE A CLAIM AS I WAS UNEMPLOYED :o
CAN I CLAIM MY MONEY BACK THAT I PAID TO THEM AS THEY GAVE IT TO ME UNDER FALSE PRETENCES HELP ME IF YOU CAN
HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM

What were you claiming on the insurance for?

I think he means he wants to claim the money he paid in premiums to his credit card company back from them????

It was the Littlewoods bit that threw me... didn't realise they were branching out into credit cards.

He/she hasn't posted again so I guess it wasn't that important to them.

Just deny knowledge of the insurance, gf works for lloyds TSB and they accidently added it to all their ccs... she was told if anyone denys asking for it - then refund it! dunno if it'll work with littlewoods but worth a try.

i was claiming because of financial problems i was told that the insurance was for if i get into trouble with my payments but because i was unemployed they said i could not claim when i tryed but i was unemployed when they gave me the cover and i told them that when they offered it and they said i was still covered and i could claim if i got into trouble

So they told you you could claim for being unemployed despite being unemployed at the time?

Well you can do a Data Protection Act request to get a recording of that phone call. Unless of course you have this in writing from them?

hi thanks for that i felt that it was i bit funny at the time they said it was for if i get into financial difficulty and unemployment did not make any differance but it did when i went to claim and i was paying insurance for about two and a half years i was very upset
