I sent a letter to First Direct about my bank charges and was more or less told to s*d off i will now write again giving them 14 days .....and see what happens this time |

First Direct, from what I've read in here  used to give in straight away, now they argue for a bit, then give in.
Funny old game.

£105 76p in one month  .....think im in the wrong job???????? |

They will use every trick in the book to slow you down in the hope that it becomes too tedious and you will give up. Find the Data Protection Act letter and send that to them by both secure messaging through their site and by snail mail. They MAY charge you up to £10 for it but they certainly didn't charge me anything and they couriered (sp?) them out to me within days.
Don't let them slow you down. They have YOUR money and you want it back as soon as possible. It's currently sitting in their accounts earning them more interest when it should be in your account.

Did you send them £10 or authorize them to deduct it from your account ?
ATEOTD remember they've still got the same timetable regardless of which department is dealing with it... |
