They have changed their personal account T's and C's from 1st Dec 06 it basically changes the charging process in any charging 'period' but this is NOT what all our claims are about.

We are all claiming because a typical £30 'fee' applied to an account for going over your overdraft limit, or presenting a cheque, paying using a debit card, etc etc is considered by the OFT as unlawful and contravenes the consumer regulations as being 'fair and reasonible'

The OFT stated that ANY company should only administer a 'fee' or 'charge' that reasonibly covers it's ACTUAL costs to 'manage that account or transaction, and as most these days are dealt with automatically my computers it does NOT cost anything like £30 !!!!

Less than 'peanuts' mate, a so called sophisticated computer program runs away 24/7 simply trawling through 1000's of accounts selecting ones that meet certain criteria (balance, avg credit level, debit levels etc etc) and BING it prints a letter (if your priviledged) and debits your account a nice easy £30 - it's not even 'real' money to the bank, just numbers - BUT to you and me and millions of others its VERY real money

Last year along the UK banks reaped (rapped) us to the tune of £3 BILLION !!!!!!!!!!

2 right Honeygie. Why are they still charging these outrageous amounts? Since I issued my claim on 8th Nov I have incurred a further £120 of charges with some more to be added to both accounts in the next week or so
