Arrow Cherry v HSBC

Hi, I just thought I would post how I am doing with HSBC.
I sent out the first letter on 24th September, requesting charges list - they sent me back 6 years of statements...so sat down for an hour and went through them all...totalled £2393, so then I sent a letter asking them to refund - had the bog standard reply...so wrote to Mr Beaumont at Leeds.....no reply.....rang twice...no reply.....then HSBC rang me today about a direct debit that didn't go - they charged me £60 for ! He was a complete a**e, got really shirty with me about the charges thing....so when I put the phone down, felt cr*p, cried a bit - then went online and filed a claim through MCOL....now I feel loads better !
My last letter to Mr Beaumont was dated 4th October, so I think I gave them plenty of time to contact me - but they didn't, and the guy tonight just peed me off so much !

So now it's a just a waiting game....

good for you.

if they try calling you again just refuse to answer security questions and tell them u would rather they keep all communications in writing. Just isnt right that they can harrass u in ur own home and make u cry.

still..it spurred u onto mcol so that can only be a good thing! chin up, wont be too long now

My claim has been accepted and issued......
The next step on MCOL is Judgment....

'Do you wish to enter Judgment by Default or by Admission'

Do I need to do anything here now, or just wait for some contact ?

I have had letter from Colin Langsdale....requesting breakdown of charges past and imminent...although I have already sent this - and now also filed with MCOL !

But, after reading other posts, I will reply to him with the breakdown and also inform him it has been filed with MCOL - so they can't accuse me of not responding to them!

But no sign of communication from DG Sols......

It's 28 days from when it was 'served' (which MCOL says is 5 days after it was issued) I'm not sure what this means if they've acknowledged though as they acknowledged mine after 2 days! I think MCOL will only let you press the judegement button after 28 days anyway so if you try and press it too early it won't work. try it tomorrow and see what happens!
