Hi,

I want to try and get my charges back from HSBC master card not sure if im in the right thread as cant see one for master card?? just wondering if it works on the same principle as the bank??

Yes I would think so - just change the wording on the letter to "credit card number" instead of "account number."

The letters should be the same anyway Good Luck (although you wont need luck)

send off the letter to obtain my statements this morning (10.08.06) along with the £10 cheque, so just a matter of waiting now to see what happens.

havent recieved any correspondance at all from HSBC, the 40 days is up tomorrow - not impressed at all!!

The plot thickens.....
I decided to ring mastercard complaints about not recieving the statments, they were in fairness very helpful and said they would look at it being a priority as i have been waiting for so long. They have no idea about what happened to my £10 cheque that i sent them, still going to send the letter tonight threatening court action in 7 days, as they said they had recieved by letter on the 21st august (i sent it on the 10th!!!) so would prefer to put this in writing!!

What do i do the week time scale is up today, still have recieved no corresspondance and no statements after sending date protection letter on 10th August!! what do i do!!!! and how do i go about it?xxx

Hi there if you have a quick read of the alanfromderby v abbey thread in the abbey susess storys you should have a better idea as he had to start a claim against them to get his.
