I have a timeshare that I have tried to sell for over 14 months. This was actually my first year of paying for it where I couldn’t go out to stay at it, and that hurt. I looked into hiring a selling agent, but there I’ve found there are no guarantees. Why is selling a timeshare such a hassle?

I was in the same situation three years ago: I’d put our timeshare on ebay no dice, my church didn’t want it, and I was running out of options. My husband actually convinced his sister to take it for one third the price. She and her husband ended up hating it and we heard all about it. Never sell anything to family! So I took the sale money and hired a company I found called Timeshare Relief that transferred the title off my in-laws and out of everybody’s life for good. Maybe you should try that route because it was one of the biggest challenges to our marriage and I am so glad it is behind us.
