Long story cut short:
We went away with dedicated holidays in April 06. Holiday was bad.
I set up slagging off website under "dedicated holidays from hell" a .co.uk website and started court proceedings. The site was removed as a gesture by me (msn still has it cached) and the court case is currently at the stage of allocation questionaires - i've completed mine and sent it off (there are no costs for me as we are low income and are exempt)
Yesterday, 01/09/06 the company ceased trading. I don't know why or under what circumstances, - their phone lines just say ceased trading and the ATOL site
www.atol.org.uk just list them under "Latest ATOL Failures".
Thus far, they had entered a defence and were disputing the whole claim - is it likely that i now will have no chance whatsoever of winning back the money i'm suing for? How does the case progress now they have apparently ceased trading? They certainly were trading when they acknowledged and defended my claim. Will it all depend upon exactly why they have "ceased trading"?
Grr - can anyone tell me it's not going to end in me being up the creek? lol
