Ok after coming back from our Turkey holiday booked with Thomas Cook we put in writing our complaints - we had to change our first room due to location issues and locally we managed to speak to the rep about this at the welcome meeting for her to sort. The moved room however was overlooking the most glorious building site! Our room booked was also advertised as sleeps 3 with sofa however neither rooms had the capacity for either a 3rd bed, or a sofa. In addition to this the rep was absolutely dire and spent all the time at the welcome meeting moaning about thom cook!! We could not complain to the rep a second time as we were on excursions every day and so had no time to see her.
I sent the letter of complaint to TC (with photos) and received their response this morning - all it addressed was the size of the room and that normally the hotel will remove any additional beds etc if they are not needed. They also placed a lot of emphasis on complaining in resort - this infuriated me as I dont want to have to spend time out of my short holiday running round after a useless rep! There was no reference to room location etcetc
I am about to send a reply to their letter and wondered if anyone could advise me what I can write - obviously I will adress the areas they have failed to but I am also concerned about the poor allocation of rooms they have, their location and the fact that it my eyes they are misadvertising a room. The hotel shows its rooms here
::.. DIAMOND of BODRUM ..:: and in my eyes we should have been in a family room?
