Red face Re: Halifax Are Getting Nasty.

Don't be surprised if they don't all arrive, I sent the Subject Access Request for mine and got a partial set back, Then phoned them and had a very pleasant conversation where they assured me they would re-issue and send correct details straight away.

:o Surprise surprise they didn't.

Sent letter 1 from the templates library reminding them that they had 9 days left to comply....

Data Protection Act - Non-Compliance - Template Letters

Amazing how quickly they can act if they want to

Did you tell them it was a subject access request? and if so do you have any proof of this?

Hope it arrives ok for you.

I would definately recommend going down the £10 Subject Access Request route.
I oredsred all my statements via telephone and have finally received what i requested this week - 16 weeks after initially requesting them!!!!!
All because i didnt follow the correct procedure!

My daughter ordered them over the phone, they charged her £5, she recieved 2 lots today, both lots the same & only for the past 12 months. She phoned & had a go at them & they apologised & said due to so many requests for statements they were having problems.

I would demand the £5 back, and then send the Subject Access Request template letter if I were you.

Good Luck

It is, just remember to use the letters from the templates library and follow the http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...tructions.html and that way you will be less likely to make mistakes

I would personally stick to your timetable. Should it ever get to court it will show that you have stuck by your word and what you stated in your LBA or prelim letter.
