I have not received statements any or contact from Halifax one card and my 40 day Data Protection Act time scale is up in six days

Could someone advise me of my next move?

They've failed to respond to your Data Protection Act request having cashed the cheque? Even if you have found the information then, if you have the time, you should make a complaint to the Information Commissioner. Banks shouldn't be allowed to get away with ignoring Subject Access Requests.

Let us know how you get on with the claim.

Received a letter today saying that they are reducing there fees to £12 from 1/08/06 in line with the OFT.

They have also advised that prior to this date the fees are in line with the T&C and they will not refund my money.

You no what this means LBA out in tomorrows post.

Hope you don't mind me asking you this questian, just thought you have been through process and would know.

I am just about to start court proceedings against Halifax Card Services, I cannot use moneyclaim online because they are based in Scotland. Can I file claim in my local court?
