Hi everyone, without this site none of us would be anywhere near claiming back the money that the banks have unlawfully taken from us . So many members have gained knowledge and received the support needed to make a claim, let alone the many claims that some have made!

The cost of maintaining and running a site like this one must be astronomical, let alone the time it must have taken to set up the letter templates, the spreadsheets etc., etc.

I for one think it is only fair and correct that the people who have made a successful claim should give back a little something to keep this marvellous website going to help others and, of course, it may be you who may need further advice on banking issues and other matters in the future.

If a successful member were to donate say 5% of a £500 claim this would only mean donating £25, so you can see that individually its not a lot, but collectively it would guarantee the continuation of this site. On a £50 claim it would only be £2.50.

But even if you have yet to make a successful claim, donating £5, any sum, would be of help I am sure.

I think this is morally right to do. I for one have already made a donation of £10 but when our claims are settled, we will be donating more.

What do you think? Can you help?

You may pledge your donation here if you wish

Note to Admin: I only hope that you don’t mind me posting this message, use it, delete it, as you see fit.

Hiya, I couldn't agree more with you. Without this site, we wouldn't even be having a little silver lining in our clouds. I for one will ABSOULUTLY be giving 5% when my money comes. I'm at the Prem letter stage at the mo, I wish I could give some money now, but it would only bounce, Lol. I can't thank everybody who has helped me with my questions and queries enough. Big hugs Hope the good work keeps up.
Good luck to everyone and I sincerly hope people will give a little something back, please think of your silver lining............

Question Re: Please Donate To This Site

mailto: mailto: http://http://www.consumeractiongroup.c o.uk/forum/member.php?u=5
I intend to donate 5% if/when I get MY money back as without this site I would
never have tried & the money would without doubt stay with the banks.

How about including a "Pledge" button

Capitalone £280 - Preliminary Letter sent 02/5/06 - LBA to be issued 17/5/06

Halifax £1691 - - £221 goodwill gesture offered 28/4/06- Refused

Will be reading up today on next step to apply to court

I couldn't agree more 0justlooking! Banks just have to take notice of their customers ... after all without us they wouldn't exist! I wonder when they forgot that fact!

Me too, if it was not for this site I would not have thought in a million years to claim my money back from Lloyds or Halifax come to that. You will receive my donation once I have received it. Good on all the Moderators etc, for all their time, effortless reading and help and assistance with all of our claims. I for one appreciate it. We all have lives and families but still they answer our questions!!!! I for one wont forget it
Kindest regards
