Default It's War - Part 2!

Hi there,

I sucessfully claimed 18 months of charges which totalled £1500 last year. So I thought it's now time to claim the the charges from when the account was opened which totalled to £1878.00. I sent my Prelim letter today, so I will let you know how I get on!

Wish me luck, cos here's goes!!!

Good luck, even though you don't need it!

P.S. Do you claim the 'Interest debited - notified last month' amounts as well?

Right then! I sent a prelim letter on 16th January, and they haven't replied yet. Should I be worried? Shall I go ahead and send the LBA on the 30th as planned?

Right - I sent my LBA on Thursday, and within two days they finally replied saying 'Sorry you're not happy. We'll reply within the next four weeks'. Why have the acted after I sent a LBA, but they didn't bother and the Pemlim letter?!

Gary,

Don't worry about when they reply, or what the say in the reply unless they offer you the full amount. Keep to your schedule - 14 days after the LBA, go to the MCOL or N1 and file your claim. I think that they may have quite a backlog of claims, but that's not our problem - they should employ more staff and stop making unlawful charges..
