I hand delivered the 'request for information' letter to my branch a couple of weeks ago & yesterday recieved a reply...

They want £5 per monthly statement for the last 6 years...£360! ROFL!

Just phoned customer service's & the lady asked why I want to make such a request. I informed her & after being put on hold to speak to her supervisor they are going to send me all 72 statements for £5!

Just to keep you updated...

Recieved statements end of last week & sorted through them Monday....£530. Not as much as some on here but it bought back the anger of a very difficult time where they took half of that in one go...& to talk about MY money as a 'goodwill gesture'! Still, its not a touch on Barclays (who tried to steal all my dads money when he died. Amazing how quickly U get it back when U stand in the middle of the branch shouting...)

Dropped letter off to local branch Monday afternoon & recieved a letter the very next morning...

'In order for us to respond fully to the queries raised in your letter, we will need to investifate this matter so that a full response may be issued'

You will be contacted again shortly. I am also taking this opportunity to enclose our leaflet explaining our complaints procedure'

Well Halifux, the clock hasnt stopped ticking!

P.S Anyone else notice these £28-39 charges only started a few years back, they used to be £5 (prob sneaked the hike in a terms & conditions bible update!)...can I claim them too, or are they reasonable?

P.P.S They charged me £30 the very next day! £28 to come @ the end of the month...'tis like a savings account!

Well the LBA period is up today & no response!

They have also levied £293 worth of charges to be taken out of my account since...!

I was going to submit the original claim now & if they take the charges/I win, i'll submit a new claim...? (after approaching them & give them the chance to withdraw them first of course!)
