Sorry, I sent off for my bank statements from halifax, they were posted to me in a big brown envelope, but not in the form i usually recieve them in the post, they were not easy to interpret as there is a lot of useless information. They appear to be just printed out in some form of management report. Has anyone else had statements in this form, and if so how do i find all my charges in them???

The report had pages and pages of information on how my interest is calculated. They do mention charges but there are a lot of codes afer each charge, there are some small charges which i believe to be negative interest, do i include this?? and if i write the date of the charge down is it the date it was debited or the date i was notified of it??

under the data protection act they have to give you your information in an intelligible form.If they use codes etc without an explanation what the codes stand for then this is not inteligible . I suggest writing back to them pointing this out and telling them because of this they have not complied with your S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) in full .Remind them how much longer they have left to comply .You need to do this ASAP.

In the meantime it may help if you post the codes in here and maybe someone will know what they mean.
