Default Can i charge the banks for services?

Hi

Just a quick question or two.

I have a few friends who i have told about this and how i am getting my charges back, they want to do the same but dont have the time/knowledge to go through the process, they have asked me if i will do it for them, obviously this is taking up my time, so heres my question,

Can i charge the banks for the time it takes me to go through statements, calculate charges , write letters etc.....

After all it is there fault we are going through this in the first place.

At the worst would i lose the whole claim or would they just remove the service charge i have made from the claim.

Maybe i am leaving myself open to the banks sueing me for unreasonable service charges?

Dunno anyone got an angle on this?

The simple answer is no.

You can claim:
1. Court fees
2. Fixed costs shown on the summons, if a sloicitor issued the proceedings
3. Expert fees up to £200
4. Expenses by claimant and witnesses including reasonable hotel costs if away from home
5. Loss of earning up to £50 per day

Awards are discretionary, Judge has final say.

Further sums may be allowed if Judge comes to the conclusion that a party has behaved unreasonably.

Hi

Why dont your friends join this site and they will soon find all the info and help they would need.

And if they want the charges back and reclaim the right then I'm sure they would find the time like the rest of us who work and have family's.

If not then the banks will love them and keep on taking the UNLAWFUL charges.

But if your willing to help them then good luck mate

Welly

We all know people who are soooo busy that they cannot find the time to help themselves..... if someone else is prepared to do it for them.

Tell them that this is a "self-help" forum and if it's worth having, then it's worth working for.

You could charge your friends a percentage, but that is not really in the spirit of the site
