am i exempt from court fee's ?????????????

I have been searching this site and the internet and i am either being really thick or just not looking in th right places.

I get child tax credit and am wondering if i will be exempt from court fees, im not sure where to get the info as to who qualifys

can anyone help

Ring you local court if you have Full credits then you need to take your award notice to the court and they will waive the fees

Tax credits is treated as a benefit and as such could entitle you to discounts or in some cases full exemption.
There is a guide leaflet that gives this info.
As you will be applying to the court in person you can check with them.
They will need to know your income to determine what if any entitlement.

thought it may be a good idea to post this bit.

You will be exempt from paying a fee if:

• You or your partner receive the benefit Income Support. Partner means someone to whom you are married, or in a civil partnership with; or someone who you live with as if you are married to them or in a civil partnership.
• You or your partner receive Pension Credit guarantee credit.
• You receive the benefit Income-based Job Seeker's Allowance.
  Either:
• Your gross annual income (your income before income tax and other money is taken away) is less than £15460 and you receive Working Tax Credit with a 'disability element' or 'severe disability element';
  or
• Your gross annual income is less than £15460 and you and your partner receive Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit between you.
