Default The following are probably unenforceable penalties:-

  • Terms in mobile phone contracts which you require you to pay the remainder of the unused months subscription fee if you terminate the contract.
  • Terms in flight or holiday contracts which require you to forfeit the whole contract price in the event of cancellation of the contract.
  • Insurance policy cancellation fees where they do not exactly represent the administration fee. (Applies to most insurance contracts)
