Angry Help

Hi there

I am currently trying to get bank charges back from my bank (Bank of Scotland). These charges were over a 6 month period last year when i lost my job and received no benefits and had to live of £60 per month. Anyway i went to the bank and stated that the banking code states they should help me through my financial difficulties which they never.
After i send my first letter they reponded by saying no and enclosed their complaints procdure leaflet, which stated they would respond within 5 working days, infact took them 11 working days . Anyway after several letters to them they are still not refunding anyway the total amount was £1292 without debit interest and i was requesting a refund of £300.

Can anyone give me any tips as i am getting no where

do you live in scotland or is it the bank of scotland?

i am a bit unsure of whats going on here!

how much are you claiming?
do you know that you dont add the interest until you file at court?

if you have sent the request for refund and they have not refunded then you then you need to send them a letter informing them they have a further 7 days or you will file in court.

you need to set timescales and stick to them.

you need to stick to your guns and if they dont do what you ask then you need to file in court.

have you sent the letters that are on here?

good luck

Head over to the bank Action Group part, and read the FAQ. They'll always say you can't get them back. Right up until they pay it all back.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...group-against/

Read the rules, read the FAQ, follow the timetable laid out, and you'll get all £1200 and whatever.
