closing accounts?

I have seen on some peoples tags that when they claimed their accounts were closed/ cancelled, which obviously worrys me.

is that legal? And if so how common is it actually?

are some credit card companies more likly to do that than others?

This all depends on which companies you are with that you wanna claim.

barclays bank

the credit cads are MBNA (virgin and morgan stanley), barclay card (which i thik is linked to the account) and egg.

I have started a claim with Barclays and would be intested if my account will be closed after? Anybody had any dealings with the "robdogs" that are known as Barclays?
