No Scanner?

I use a company called YAC who provide (amongst other things)
a fax to email service.

basically, they give you a 0709 number (20p a minute I think) with a virtual fax machine on the end, which emails the fax to you as a TIF file

I was just reading
"Feeling Sick about £60K of Debts!" thread
and I noticed someone mentioned not having a scanner, but did have a
fax machine.

basically, fax yourself the documents, and it appears in your email as
a graphic attachment

no connection with the company except I've been using them without problems for about 5 years.

I have an e-fax number with my locas account, never considered this but sound a good idea.

My scanner packet in years ago too, and I never replaced it. I just take photos of the docs on a digital camera then copy them to the PC
