Temporary work and holiday pay Hello, if anyone has any experience or knowledge on this subject i would appreciate any insights! I have been working as a temp for an agency for the last two months, and have just finished at the placement, as im about to go travelling. I went into the agency office to try to claim my holiday pay, as i know even temp workers accrue it from day 1. However, the agency (who i have had numerous problems with previously) are saying they sent holiday claim forms out to all their 'operatives' last week with that weeks' payslips, which i have not received. The holiday year according to them runs from 1 oct- 1 oct, so im now to late and not not able to claim my holiday pay.
Im automatically suspicious due to the numerous problems i have had with them, and also several friends experiencing similiar.
do i have any recourse? |
