Default Mass complaint ;Add your name here if a dca has acted incorrectly with your account.

We are fed up of reading the stories about the Dcas who continually flout laws and principles and do not act responsibly.Following all your requests, you are invited to add your user name here together with the dca or firm of baliffs that you wish to complain about.Just add a few lines of your complaint.
Once we have a list we can then get something drafted to launch a bulk complaint to Consumer direct The FSO the others who are required to take up complaints.

Cabot - harassing me on my work number and leaving obvious debt collector messages on the answering machine which colleagues could have listened to.
Capquest - threatening to send bailiffs to my house without a court order. Sending a pre-litigation letter with a 4 day notice of intended action which they had no intention of carrying out. Generally trying to intimidate me into establishing telephone contact by using an apparently bogus solicitor's firm (HL Legal) in their communications.

Well done for this. I am trying to organise a mass complaint against Cap 1...and their associated DCAs. Had so much to deal with at the end of last year that a lot of people may have thought I'd stopped but I haven't.

If I can help you here I will. I have experience (and evidence/correspondence etc) of Debitas, CapQuest, HL Legal, DLC to name a few.

'Crimes' would include, ignoring my requests to put everything in writing and still phoning (wireless telegraphy act/harrassment), threatening legal action that they couldn't start (OFT regulations?) and writing letters to look like legal documents including mimicking court claim numbers. Plus a lot of just very unprofessional stuff....

Let me know what you want (allowing me time as my internet access is limited) and I will do whatever is....

Birmingham Midshires - starting claim 1st March £3000+
MBNA - Settled in full
Amex - CCJ issued against Amex and full refund taken by Bailiffs - cheque received eventually!
Marbles - Full settlement
Capital One - Received full amount plus costs

NCO - harassment, ringing me up even though they have been told to only correspond in writing. trading standards west yorkshire currently dealing with my complaint, but have told me that on the national database NCO havent been flagged up.

Usual threats of their collection team entering my home and taking goods, court action, not accepting payment unless its full payment. stupid idiots ring me twice a month requesting a make a payment even though they agreed 1 monthly payment on a set date. utter idiots!

Capquest - again, threatening baliff action without a court order. Complaint already made to OFT as a misrepresentation of the correct legal position and an attempt to exploit a (perceived) lack of knowledge.

H L Legal - see above

CL Finance/Lewis Group/Cohens - sending a collector to my house who tried to charge me baliffs rates for his visit. Would not confirm his full name or provide an address to write to or a telephone number other than a mobile. Had to be asked three times to leave my property. Put the phone down on me when I phoned his mobile to tell him if he ever darkened my door again I would view it as harrassment.

Westcot - trying to pursue a debt after failing to provide the necessary documentation within the statutory timeframe. Reported to Trading Standards.

I will add to this list I am sure .....

Crapbot (Cabot) for failing to comply with a CCA and being in breach, their confusing and deceitful web of companies.

Capquest - sending a deceptive postcard to obtain contact.

Debitas for capital one, moorcroft for 3g, interim justitia for capital one,
nco for ebay, mercers for barclaysbank, barclaycard, barclays bank again
aktiv capital/debt managers LloydsTSB

I would like to add Arrow Global LLC and their Solicitor, Eversheds LLC. This is my first brush with a DCA as MBNA screwed up badly and sold the debt without telling us or even informing us that they were issuing a default!

Arrow Global have ignored all my correspondence to them. They have ignored a CCA request, they have instructed their solicitor, Eversheds, to pursue us. Eversheds gave us 5 days to pay them £15K before they instructed bailiffs to enter our home (without a court order?!?!?!?). Eversheds have also ignored all correspondence.

Am v. cross!

1 ST Credit for applying for and getting an Interim c/o and now applying for final c/o.

The first I knew that 1st Credit now dealt with an MBNA debt was when they wrote asking for full payment within 5 days.

They have never had authorisation to deal with this account verbally or written.

Just waiting for CCA request to see where I stand...

Hi there, they seem to love giving 5 days don't they? If they have bought the debt, are they not authorised to deal with the account? Or is this not the case? I issued a CCA but was ignored
