newcomer...overdraft help?

Hi

I don't know if I'm in the right place to ask about this or even entitled to claim my money but I'm annoyed!!!

I'm with HSBC and they have charged me £25 a month for the last 3 months for going overdrawn, this month they are going to hit me for £75 for just going overdrawn!

Am I entitled to claim this back from them as an unfair charge or is this the type of charge I cant claim back?

Sorry for the questions, all the info is a bit overwhelming.

Yes, you can claim this back, it is an unlawful charge.

All things like going over your overdraft fees, direct debit returned fees etc., are deemed to be unlawful and you should start the process to reclaim them.

I would have a good read through the FAQ's before you get started just to familiarise yourself with the site and get lots of information for yourself. Also have a look through the HSBC forum which is where you should post the rest of your queries if you have any.

Open up a thread under your own name so everyone can follow your progress and good luck!!
