Homecall, pls advise Homecall have been ripping me off since i signed up with them, goes bit like this:
1. Signed up for broadband 12/03/05
2. Letter 15/03/05 stating conncetion within 20 days
3. Initial conncetion stated as 15/05/06
4. They find it difficult to understand that i need corrspondence sent to work and try to connect broadband to work.
6. Tried to cancel contract, but told i cant as must be a year, even though im not receiving service.
7. Finally connected 17/07/05
8. Moved house 23/06/06 rang to cancel contract and suspend phone line. Put request in writing.
9. Emailed requesting confirmation, early july.
10. Rang end of jul, claim not received letter or email.
11. Sent recorded delivery. System says letter is being processed.
I tried to cancel DD but they threatened legal recovery, now ive found this site im not afraid.
They have taken line rental jul, aug, sep even though i tried to cancel account, and no doubt will try to claim oct too.
how can i get this back, its another £90 i can ill afford and they have been appalling since day 1.
