Exclamation Unfair Council tax!!

Quich rundown of the situation. I work full time and live with my parents. Im only 21 and cant afford to move out. My dad is classed as disabled and my mum is a housewife. They did not have to pay council tax however, since I have been working full time my parents/I now have to pay full council tax of just over £1000 a year. Because of this they are no longer entitled to discounted vet bills and loose out on a few other things like reduced income support.

Anyway, I'm so angry with this. I pay them a good amount of board which covers what they lose, just!

Im wondering if anyone else has faced this? If there is any way to combat this? etc etc etc! Are there any rescource sites?

I feel very guilty because my parents lose a lot while I continue to live here. They are not happy charging me a huge board fee and to be fair I have debts and bills plus i need to save to be able to afford to move out.

If there is nothing is nothing already out there I intend to do a bit of research and at least try and take some action.

Long rant but I hope this makes sense and someone has some feeback, thanks

There's no legal way around it i'm afraid the only thing you could do is to see if you can arrange to stay with friends so many days a week so that you officially live elsewhere (I seem to recall it's 3)
