Talking Catalogue

Hello fellow justice avengers,
My wife is in dispute again with Great Universal Catalogue over an outstanding balance and there insistence that she pays the amount they are claiming, or she sends copies of 15.16 .17 paying statements, proving payments have been made.

She has a problem this time as she has mislaid one of her statement (16)

In the past she got a result by having to supply paying in statements to prove she had paid all monies due to them and that a balance figure of £1600 was totally wrong (they offered to reduce it by half, she refused they did give her the full amount and amended there records too). At that time she was inform they only keep records (get this for 6 months).

We have wrote a letter stating she is basically sick and tired of having to send off proof she has made all payments, and that under the Data Protection Act would they please supply all payment history of her account, basically throwing the ball back into there court to prove that she owes what they are claiming.

Any comment or advice on the above and also comments on Studio Cards (£20) hitting her with administration charges,... and on Great Universal stating amendment fee on there statements, she has requested within her letter, could they explain what this £15.00 amendment fee is for.

We are about to write to Studio Card with the Date Protection Act request, are we going about this in the right way, comments please.

You should have asked them to provide a copy of the Signed CC Agreement. That would have stopped them in their tracks.
