Default Re: Claims Justice - nothing happening

I'm new here and a bit lost. I was gullible and signed up with Claims Justice last March. Here it is August and I still have not had any money back from my bank. I need some help, seriously, we need that money that I was told I would get back within 6 weeks and here we are five months later and still nothing. Claims Justice have said today that they are waitin g for yet another court date, surely this can't be the case and are leading me down the garden path. What do I do?

Hi Chipmonk and welcome to CAG.

I've moved your post into your own new thread to save hijacking SeaHorse's thread where you put it.

Have you paid anything up front to Claims Justice.

There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't run your own claim. There's loads of good peeps here willing to help and guide you through the reclaiming process as well as all the letters, forms and info you're ever likely to need.

You'll also get to keep ALL your refunded charges !!

If they signed you up in March, they knew that all cases were being "Stayed" when they got to the court stage, pending the final outcome of the OFT test case.

Unless they have already got your claim into court, I would dis-instruct them on the basis of breach of contract as they could never have expected any payout for you at present.

If they HAVE got your case to court already, then they are probably right that they're waiting for a new court date - ie when ALL Stayed cases are released when the OFT rulings and appeals are over.
