Obviously some people will get annoyed with it, however if a ticket exchange was set within ticket companies to sell tickets back -% fee, for every person still demanding them it would make it fair, easy and would eliminate touts to a minimum.

Tickets are a commodity and some become more valuable than others. So what?
Why single out tickets? |

What i have done is use the power of the internet to find out just what is going on with ticket touts and how the de fraud the consumer. they try to get round the issue of selling for example football tickets by trying to argue they are not based in the UK, all of them are and most of the ltd companies they say the have don't exist. it one particular case i will post is regarding the [ EDIT ] you must before you buy check the terms and conditions which quite honestly are a joke. they are full of spurious claims for example one particular tout claims to be based in the United States but their company does not exist even the UK company they are purporting to be do not exist. Most of the touts are running multiple sites, and will go to any length to take your money. which also begs the question why do Google allow these touts to advertise their websites when quite clearly it is against their editorial guidelines to run multiple sites, why do the credit card processors allow credit card processing when clearly the websites are breaking the law. one thing and one thing only, MONEY they do not care, they do no checks on the companies to see if the companies are registerd here or abroad. The law in the UK is quite specific selling football tickets is illegal. I would welcome comments on my findings which i will not publish unless there is some interest. The findings are horrific. just has a sweetener watch out for the following 2 sites [ EDIT ]says they are an official site and is owned by Official-Ticket Ltd. which according to company’s house does not exist. they also say they are registered in the Seychelles and governed by their laws. Sorry if it was a UK company they would be governed by UK laws making what they are doing illegal. [ EDIT ] is owned by the same owners [ EDIT ]who own at least another 160 websites the owners of [ EDIT ]went bust owing millions, and is supposed owned by XL&H. Ltd. which is a registered company in the state of Delaware. XL&H. Ltd. is not a registered company either here or in the state of Delaware easily checked for free from companies house. and in any case you cannot have a Ltd company in the US. There’s however a company called XCLUSIVE LEISURE & HOSPITALITY LIMITED Registration number 05944048 who own [ EDIT ] But believe me that opens up a real can of worms. These frauds run into millions of consumer’s money but none of the authorities, banks Google or trading standards seem to want to know. Seems they are too busy to investigate I have the full 8 page report i have compiled about these companies and the results will astound you. Not so happy reading the whistle blower |
In reply to your opst, I think myself and my friend have now become victims to Xclusive! We bought V festival tickets, I have spoken to them twice, most recently 2 weeks ago, who advised when the tickets would be with us at the beginning of August, we both even received an email to say they will be sent from 7th August. However, my friend received an email 3 days ago stating that they would no longer be able to supply the tickets as their supplier had let them down, and to contact our credit card company. I haven't had this email. I've since been searching the on internet and found lots sites/posts about them being behind the Beijing Olympics ticket scam and several posts also show the same letter sent to them. |
