Default 24/7 spares.co.uk

I have been searching for a part for my car and registered with the above company on line. The website and the flash videos made me believe it was a good company. Within a couple of hours i received calls, emails and texts from numerous car part companies registered with them stating that they had the part.
At first I thought wow .......this is easy and i went ahead and gave my details and the payment details to one of the companies who promised me nextday delivery- that was Monday- On Wednesday my garage informed me the part still had not arrived and so I phoned the company. I was told oh dear it got lost in the post I will send out another! I asked for him to call me back with the tracking number for nextday delivery - he didnt call.
Meanwhile my garage received a call asking where the part is located in the vehicle. I phoned again for the tracking number only to be told oh err sorry I dont have the part.
Once again i registered my details on 24/7 and once again I received emails stating we have the part - call now for immediate dispatch - several companies later and many phonecalls and three days of my time.....not one of them had the part .........yet they said they did! All asked me where the part is located in the vehicle after sending me a confirmation of price and stock!
I phoned 24/7 who were unwilling to give me a postal address to complain to and did not believe what had happened. A week has passed and it has been a complete waste of time.

You may not have the last laugh, but you could get half way there as you can put a review on this site. Go and tell the world the truth.

24 7 Spares www.247spares.co.uk Review in Online Car Parts Suppliers at Review Centre

You could also email Quintin Willsons agent and without going into too much detail, tell them that you have a problem with the company and that as he is endorsing the company, then any further action you take may bring him into disrepute.
See what reply you get.

I have used sites like this a few times (not sure if I have used that actual one) and I have had 100% success rate with whatever spares I have asked about.

I thought I'd mention this, as it happened soon after we got quotes for spare parts via 247spares...you may start getting a few spam text messages which, if like our problem, each charged £1.50 for the privilege!!
They were a royal pain in the ar$e to stop, and the only way we could have got those is because we gave our mobile number to the 247spares website.
This may have been a one off, but I thought I'd warn you and anyone else that reads this just in case.

thank you guys for your response, I am amazed that these people can get away with this. I now have to change my debit card and I will keep an eye on my mobile. I would warn people to stay clear of this company.
