Red face New to all this but need help.

I have taken the brave step to try and take control of my finances rather than they take control of me! I am in a serious amount of debt and I mean serious due to living beyond my means for years and years. I used to have a very well paid job and could meet my outgoings with bonus's, share sales and salary but I am now on long term sick with my company and will not be returning for some time (if ever). I have a beauty studio which is a limited company and I am a Director but I receive no payment as it has only been open 18months - and after investing in circa of 50,000 into it I will not be able to receive an income for at least another 18 months. Can I apply for an IVA - is it in my best interest? Does an IVA deal with the credit card debts and the loans debts? Look forward to hearing from someone/anyone!!!! Even if its for a bit of moral support!

Welcome hope1, I don't know much about this subject, but try this link IVA - Individual Voluntary Arrangement: IVA Advice for Beginners I hope it'll help, there's a calculator to help you work out whether you qualify for IVA.
Good luck & come back & let us know how you go, & please remember that there is always someone that can help you. We are a friendly lot.
