Default Wilson / Phillips IVA - Advice

Hello all,

This is for me dad not me - He is currently with 'Kensington Finace' People to help him pay off his debt.
He pays around £220 a month which around £40 they take directly to themselfs.
He had a phone call from W/Phillips and was told to do an IVA - 60 months approx to clear it all off.
The repayment is around £170 a month.
Im just after some genral reveiws if anyone has any!?
Is this company any good?
I dont want him to swap over the to new company and then relise it was a mistake.

Louise

I would get him to call National Debtline on 0808 808 4000 ( or you can call on his behalf ) for free confidential independent advice - £170pm sounds too low for an IVA to be honest - are you sure it's an IVA not a DMP ( Debt Management Plan?

How much does he owe in total & what type of creditors? Depending on his exact circumstances he may want to switch to a FREE debt management plan? NDL could go through ALL of the options.

Hope this helps

To do an IVA you must have a debt of more than 15k.
