Can I claim with my IVA ?

Hi all, is it possible to claim unfair bank charges if you have an IVA. We are seriousl looking down this route as Northern rock want to put a 3rd charge on our house from an unsecured loan we defaulted on as the interest rate went from 6% to 12.09% & there is no way we can afford another £90 a month having just come off the phone the lady then tells me that the call was recorded there was no previous mention of this whatsoever. Even there solictors give conflicting advice.

As I recall we have had a few claimants on the site who have had IVAs.
To be honest I have not personally had any dealings with any of them.
I think our mod Alanfromderby knows about this tho,unfortubnately he is not online at present.
For a quicker response I will move your post to Baliff and debt as I am sure that you will get an informed response from there.
