Default Help needed about unfair dismissal

This is my first time on a forum so excuse any mistakes! in the hope of posting this to also help other people who may be in the same situation as myself.

In need of some help or advice - i have worked for a company over the last year, a small company comprimising of 15 staff.

I need some advice as today 3 members of staff including myself were unfairly dismissed for no reason what so ever - in fact not one of us were actually called into a meeting room , we were told to pack our bags and leave along with abusive language which i do not wish to repeat.

I have no terms of employment nor have ever signed a contract with my employer. The individual that dismissed us was the managing director of the company. I do believe this may have not been the best of weeks for the company and its financial situation but i do not wish to discuss something that i dont have any facts on.

I have been in contact with a local solicitor who deals with employment laws but i cant afford to pay any legal fees . I am searching for advice on how i follow this up?.
When i was asked to leave the office, twice.. which included abusive language on both instances i left the office and brought myself home.
Not knowing what i need to do next, a manager tried calling my personal mobile phone twice once at 5.30pm and then again at 7.30pm these are hours outside my working hours therefore i did not pick up any of these calls. If an employeer has verbally said 'get out of my office, pack your bags and get out of my company; i seriously think that is a form of dismissal.

I now wonder what to do. I dont wish to speak to anyone in the business and feel i should not have any contact with any of my collegues apart from the two others that had the same treatment today.

Do i write a letter requesting facts about why i was dismissed? can i write one on my own or do i need to get a solicitor to write one for me?

How do i go about my monthly wage, im due my next wage on the 29th of this month! will i still get this? or do i have to seek legal advice.

Someone please help

Perhaps your boss was calling to apologise for his outburst and rescind what he said? Completely unacceptable behaviour on his part though.

How long have you worked there?

Tweety Pie - what is absolutely critical is (as Poppynurse asked) how long you have worked there. Your rights not to be unfairly dismissed are greatly diminished if you haven't completed 12 months service. Our advice will very much be affected by whether you have, or haven't.

What is not in question is that your MD has acted appallingly and with an utter lack of respect for you as an employee...or a person.

I am assuming (and apologise if incorrect) that you are female. If so, are all three of you ladies, and are any of the staff remaining male? Do you feel that you have been treated differently because you are female?

At the very least, you are entitled to a list of terms and conditions (however basic) if you are not given a contract of employment. In addition, you are entitled (up to two years service) to a weeks [paid] notice.

You can claim unfair dismissal if you have less than a years service, if you are discriminated against (age, sex, sexual orientation, disability or disadvantage) and various other reasons (which are automatically unfair) which I don't think apply.

Your length of service is very important, and so is the fact if you have any terms in your 'contract' or something in writing. There may also be a breach of contract, even if you do not have one, but an "implied" term was adopted for notice periods, i.e. everyone used to get a set amount, but it was just something that was done, but not in writing.
