Stess Policies & Risk Assessments

Evening all,

Just a quick question.

Are all employers required by law to have a stress policy in place? If so, what happens if they don't have one?

Also for some reason our work place haven't got a single risk assessment completed. I wonder if its also H&S law that they should review risks and assess them regulary??

I am trying to find the info on the HSE website but can't find it.

Hi there, you will find detailed information on risk assessments contained in the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, here:
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999

There is no requirement for an employer to have a specific policy on dealing with stress, this would be covered by the employer's duty of care. Why do you ask?
