Default Any sort of calculator

I've been told to get some sort of figure in mind for a possible compromise agreement. It's a DDA related case with long term (over 12months) discrimination both direct and indirect, failure to make RA, harassment and a whole lot of grief and upset to go with that.
I haven't got a clue where to start.
Should i be looking at tribunal awards and go from there?
If so where could i look?
Any advice please?

Can you tell us a bit more please?

Have you lost your job? Do you have an ET claim lodged? Do you have legal representation?

What type of work do you do? Will you get another one quite easily? etc etc

In general though, you should be looking at what your salary is now and using that as a basis to get paid until you get another job and compensation for your suffering and maybe also demanding an excellent reference too.

But it's difficult to be more precise on what you have posed here.

HI

In the same postition myself and dont know where to start. In my case after bringing to their notice a serious bullying problem I was removed from my post and in the last 3 years been moved all over or on paid (gardeners) leave. Complaint upheld but nothing ever done about the bullies. Now been on gardeners leave for over 12 months and asked to give a figure. Where do you start, employed by them for 12 years on 20,000 current salary, loss of pension and job security, highly unlikely to get a job with the same wages, aged over 50

Any properly drafted CA will have provision in it for the employee to consult a legal rep (e.g. local solicitor) prior to signing the agreement. Furthermore, it should make provision for the payment of their fees, by the employer, when the employee does so, normally capped at about £250

Thus go and see a local sol who does employment law and explain that you will be shortly coming back to him with a CA and would like advice about a suitable figure to put in the aforesaid CA.

They will probably do the initial consultation for free as they will be getting (in theory) the £250 for the CA upon your return.

Good Luck
