Default Facing Disaplianary HELP!

Hello all, This morning i received a letter to ask me to attend a disaplinary matter. I had been expecting this was the action they were going to take as monies given to the company had not been banked by me. I have no recollection of ever seeing them and i have been under great stress at work at also in my home life of late which i have made my employers aware of. So now i have been suspended on full pay. What i am curious about is that i have never received a written statement of employment (which i understand must be given within 2 months of starting, i have now been there 3 yrs!) despite repeated requests for one both verbally and in writing. I also understand that the written statement must also contain notes regarding their disaplianry and grievance procedures, since i have not recieved this are they failing in their responsibilites by puting me through a disaplianary despite not giving me my written statement outlining their procedure. Also do they have to supply me beforehand with any evidence they may use in the meeting? And will the enormous stress i have been under both through work and personal life have to be taken into account when coming to a decision?
Any help much appreiciated!!!

You are entitled to a written statement of employment terms and should have access to grievance/disciplinary procedures which can be a seperate document or in a company handbook.

I suggest you request these in writing again and keep a copy.

I would write back to them, request the evidence they intend to submit against you and ask them to reschedule the meeting for a date no less than 48 hrs after the have provided you with the evidence the intend to use.
