Default Company Car Question
Hi guys

I have a problem that I need some advice on. I get a car allowance from my company. I decided to opt-in to the company car scheme on 15 March. The company had not arranged for the company car and as of yet have not done so. My car has broken and the company has had to hire a car. The company now wants to recover the complete cost of the vehicle from me. The argument that I have is that they should only be entitled to the difference between when I receive my car allowance and when I was given the rental car. I had my own car for three weeks and had the rental for the last 8 days. Therefore I should only loose 8 days of car allowance. Am I wrong on this matter? Advice please.
