I was due to attend the meeting but was unable to as there was no union member on site

I am on the sick at the moment and am stressed out

with worry

I cant face it at the moment but know I will have to

I think I will lose my job

there is no theft involved
can they make me come in for the meeting

I can explain a lot of things but not a few
and its not knowing what they have

It is quite obvious that whatever has happened is causing you a huge amount of anguish and understandably you are not comfortable in telling everything here.

Just remember that we are all here to help if we possibly can. Your employer has to follow certain procedures and in many cases they slip up, so this may not be as black as it might seem to you at the moment. Your employer cannot make you go to the meeting, but it may be in your interests to if there is any chance whatsoever of you staying in work - although you can get it postponed, they can ultimately hold the meeting in your absence.

Just start at the beginning and be as vague as you like as long as it tells the basic story from the beginning and we will try to give you some advice. Why did you go sick? When? How have they advised you of the meeting? Have they told you that you have a right to be accompanied? Have they actually given details of the allegation against you?
