Default Redundancy query
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help with this?

My wife works for a national charity and has previously acted as Deputy CEO. The management structure of the organisation was changed last year and my wife went through a process of assimilation into the new structure. Now she has been informed that she is at risk of redundancy following a further 'restructuring' . Her current post, at Director level, still exists (at Director level) in the new structure and the job description is the same. Is it legal that she can be selected for redundancy?

i would say yes ,your wife would have a claim, but if i`m wrong,there are plenty of people in the forum that may know a lot more than i do.
