Default Hi everybody New user can I ask about employment law in here ?

totally new to this and not sure if I'm in the right place or not also if allowed to ask about employment issues ? seem most threads are bank related !!
can some one point me to the HELP section ?
I have a heck've tale and cant get into CAB for a week
would like a little advice just to keep me sane !!
anyway here goes
I started work for my employer in october 2007 and went from a weekly paid to monthly this i could not afford without finacial help (boss loaned me £1200 @ £50 permonth repay rate) everthing was fine until I had a RTA 13/3/08 in the company car on the way to work NOT My fault I was given a hire car as temp, however as the day went on I was developing more and more pains so went to the hospital who told me I had minor whiplash and would probably be ok by monday so I informed my employer of what had been said.
This did not happen the pain got worse over the weekend and I had to go and see my doctor for Pain relief He then told me that I had suffered soft tissue damage to my neck and elbow joint loss of feeling in right arm and hand and that it could be up to 3 months for this to repair (if at all).
When I told my employer he got a little upset over the phone and told me that i would not be payed whilst off and would only get SSP this of course I had to accept (contract states company sick pay at directors discretion )
However on 29/3/08 I received my salary as normal ie full months pay this I told to my claim advisor who said somtimes companys do pay then reclaim from the other party (didnt worry) Then Isent another sick note in for a further 2 weeks to which I then got a phone call asking when i would be returning ? I said that it was up to the doctor and that he was going to sign me off for 2 week durations until i was fit to return I asked about the overpayment of salary and was told that it would be recouped !! this month !! I contacted 1 of the directors who told me they would look into it !!.Then on 29/4/08 I got my pay slip which said payment -£****.00 SSP £568 wages paid -£582.00 which means i still owe £582 and that they will take all of my SSP for May and I will still owe £240.88 all the above I know they can do ACAS has said Now 6 weeks on after the accident I have applied for income support because the company have finally given me a letter to explain why I have no wages/money this may take upto 6 weeks to process .In the same letter it states that holiday pay will not accrue whilst off sick ? is that allowed (1)
and more importantly they now suggest going into work with an apprentice to do the more manual aspects of my job as they need someone in at the end of may to cover for holidays !!!!! This of course plays into their hands for several reasons 1 Iwould have to driven around and all manual work carried out on my behalf (cannot grip with right hand) cannot use a ladder (half our sites require roof access via ladder)How long would the company pay the apprentice to chauffer me a round ? Before saying THIS is Not working and where does that leave me ?? (2)If they say that can they terminate my employment ? and I can I go back on the sick ? If I say tthat i wont go back on a reduced cappacity basis then the lawyers for the accident 3rd party will say i could work and wouldnt !!My wife only works 6 1/2 hours week thats the only money we have coming in atm with a 12 year old daughter
it would also end my claim for ISupport etc and what if they dont pay me at the end of May due to the old Debt from the start of employment that would be 3 months with no money !!! I dont know what to do Help please
sorry to have gone on forever but i thought you would need to know the full story
