Unhappy advice on boss

have been working for a few months 3 weeks ago had a accident at work whilst driving a lorry causing a little bit of damadge ...but it was not my fault and the boss was only concerened about me as there was already damadge to the vehical ..3 weeks later (no mention)of the accident i had a unrelated arguement with the boss he went to hit me ...missed but i hit him ...ended up leaving the docks ....being told i had the sack...next day phone call asking me if i wanted my job back i could....didnt give any decission ...still pretty angry...next day wages due for the week before...no wages came so i called my boss and he has turned around and said hes not paying my wages as i crashed the lorry ...was only a minor bump on site hiting a structual post no damadge ....he has not mentioned in the last 3 weeks that i am having wages docked ....i look after my dissabled 74 year old father and was on benefits before as i am his carer ...so starting work means no money from dss so bills not paid in the few months ive worked i havent had a full week as they saud they dont need me when i turn up ...so what wages i have had are minimal ...basically me and my dad are broke although i have restarted my benefit claim they are not the quickest route to money i really need my wages before the gas and electric are cut off i have a week before my phone and nternet are cut of and justhappy that i have no children to think about over christmas ....we can have christmas next year when we can affoard it...but the heating and electric this time of year cant wait .....what can i do to get my boss to hand them over

You could probably chase him through courts etc for your money, he's clearly in breach of contract, but if it were me I'd want to weight up the benefits of getting my wages against the damage to my future job prospects of having an assault charge on my record. I'm willing to bet he'd report you to the police for hitting him if you make things unpleasant for him.

This is just my opinion though, I'm sure someone with some actual legal knowledge will be along soon to give you some proper advice!
