Welcome to the site have moved your thread here and retitled it.
First of all can you give more details ie;

When did you leave the employer and what measures have you taken to get the P45 / Wage slip ?
What has their response been when you asked ?

Remember to hand in a P46 in the interim so you don't get emergency taxed in your new job, if you're starting work somewhere else.. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/p46.pdf

Hi,

A P45 is provided by an employer when leaving their company for you to provide to any new employer. If they refuse to give you this then you need to contact your tax office and inform them of this otherwise you will end up paying emergency tax.

A pay slip is a legal entitlement and if they refuse to provide you with one you should first raise it with them in writing pointing out and underpayments you believe may have been made. If this is ignored then raise a formal grievance even if you no longer work for them and lastly consider taking them to a tribunal. If you are a member of a Trade Union then they will be able to assist you with all of this, if not then its worth contacting the CAB for advise.

Best wishes,

Paul.
