Default Should i try and reclaim?

I have just sent off Subject Access Request to Alliance & Leicester, HBoS & Capital one, you can all trace my plight on the relevent pages!

Not sure whether to go for Egg though?!?

I had an Egg card and started to run into trouble when i split from my Mrs in 2003. At the time i had run up to and just over my limit and the charges that followed started it snow balling, anyway to cut a long storey short i defaulted. The debt was sold on to FT & C and i finally cleared it January 2006. Is it worth pursueing Egg for the charges i had impossed upon me back then? I gather from the threads i have read that Egg are particulary stuborn and have a rather hard shell!!!

All comments greatly appreciated!

Matt

Will do.
I have a few cases on the go at the mo as well, A & L, HBoS, Cap 1 & RBS.
Who do you reckon will pay out first?

Capital One is the only one I have gone for out of those and they were very quick to pay me in full once I had filed MCOL.

I have had full pay outs from Cap One and Halifax and I have a court date with barclays of the 29th March.

Well i still have all the statements for the RBS one so sent the prem letter today, from the threads i have read they seem to buckle dead quick, even after the prem letter so fingers crossed!

My prediction is
RBS pay out first
HBoS next
A & L then but will go to the wire
Cap 1 after, then
Egg last

Fancy a bet? LOL

Quick question.......

On my Halifax claim i have a DRA chasing me for my default from 2003 and someone told me to send the letter requesting a copy of my CCA which i downloaded from the libary and did. Now if they can't supply it they have to wipe off the debt.

My question is....With the Egg scienario i actually paid off that DRA last January. Can i ask them for my CCA and reclaim the money i paid them last year if they can't produce it?

Cheers

Matt
