Default Mike vs Egg... maybe...

Hi all,
I'm considering taking Egg on, but at the mo my card has expired and they've not sent me a new one as it's over the credit limit.
Should I wait and get it below the limit first, or just crack on with the process and pray they don't pass it on to a DCA?
Also... anyone got any idea if they'll send me a new card when it's back below the limit? They've not said otherwise just yet - don't really want to rock the boat while they're happy with me!
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike

How happy can they be if they have left you with an expired card?

If any part of the outstanding balance is due to unlawful charges then you may claim those back, furthermore, if the debt is in dispute then they cannot pass it to a DCA for further action until that dispute is resolved.

I would, to use your words, crack on with the process and there is no need to pray, just send your letters and follow others who have done this before you.

Look here for details of Egg.
