Hi All,

Just wanted to say that I sent Egg a secure message requesting a copy of my statements and I received a reply informing me I'd get them within 4 days! I had to pay £10 for them, but that was ok. So it might be worth people sending a secure message to begin with, as it seems to save time and stops them requesting further ID.

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread and good luck with your claim.

I sent them a secure message a few days ago requesting statements and they said they'd be £2 each. They don't seem to be very consistant.

No they don't!!!
I rang today to ask where my statement were, as i sent a secure message last week and got no reply. Guy on phone tells me that they did send a reply to S message and continued to read it out to me. Apparently egg thinks that their 40 days started on 28th August when they reploed to my secure message - I dont think so.
Asked egg member of staff to make a note on system saying i called and reminded them of their 40 days under data protection act - let's see what happens between now and 15th Sept.
