| Re: court judgements by egg and capital one Hi and welcome. Plenty of reading is quite right. The charges are not criminal, ie illegal, but they are unlawful under civil law. Read the FAQ's, forum libraries and threads. Also use the search facility for less straightforward issues, so you can find threads with how other people have done things.

How do i deal with this do i write directly to the credit card companies or do i write to the debt company and solicitor dealing with these , also if the charges are criminal can i get the judgement set aside and where could i find info on tackling this
thanks and good luck to all , weeks of reading i think before attempting anything | One thing to be very careful of is that Egg have a clause in their agreement that states they can continue to charge interest even after judgement.
This is a very nasty clause because a second debt can acrue that you are not aware of until years later, but is perfectly legal.
Check out the threads about Paragon, who are masters at this trick. |
