Not updated this for a while.Had bigger fish to fry.
Received all my statements, but haven't took any action yet.
Am about to send my prelim off very soon.
Another question:
I had a late payment last month, and of course they added a charge of £20 to my egg Loan account.I asked them to waive it, which they wouldn't do.Instead they added it on top of the amount i had to pay this month.Which means £93 for my normal direct debit, and they tried to take £113.Of course, this one didn't go out, as i only had the amount in the bank to cover the normal amount.
Now, that means, they added another charge to my egg loan account.
The thing is.....can they just change the direct debit amounts as easy as that???
And would it be possible to claim for my egg card, which is closed now, and my egg loan in one go??
Hope anyone can give any advice on that.Especially about my direct debit for the loan.
thanks,
jellybabe

hi i am not sure on if you can combine both into 1, i am also trying to get my charges from Egg. They are very difficult indeed. They can change your DD because it will be a variable DD when you opened the account.
try the FAQ regarding combining the 2.

good luck

ok,thanks livelylad. Didn't realise that this would be a variable DD??
I think i just have to pay it for now, and wait for some of the other claims vs egg to be concluded. My CC is paid off since 2003, so don't think that would be a problem, but my egg loan is still running. I wouldn't be able to pay it all back in one go if they counterclaim and ask for it all back.
