Default not working out

This whole ill health, being disabled, debt crisis thing. Rapidly reaching point of no return. Things are really bad. Can't put that into words properly just right now. Hard to communicate just how bad it is. Impossible, actually.

It's just one big, never ending miserable existence. Always has been, always will.

It's never gonna stop getting harder, no matter what is done to make it better. Never works.

Sure, I can talk about it to the Samaritans, GPs. Whatever, wherever. But talk is all it is. It's not going to ever change my situation. It's physically not going to change things. The situation is an impossible situation, that cannot be changed.

Fighting is all I have done since chilhood, and still keep on getting knocked back, punched back whatever the hell I do. Nothing matters, nothing will change.

Right now I am fighting a very dark battle. And it's beginning to win. And one day sooner or later it is going to.

One thing you do know is you are never forgotten. I have noticed a big turn around for you since you joined CAG. You are taking control again and you are passing on your own positive experiences to others which is great to see.

Yes, you still have a uphill struggle with both your health and wealth, but you are fighting back on both counts and we can see you are getting somewhere. It may not seem that way everyday, but we can see you are making progress. You keep it up.

I agree with that, but one thing i would recomend is to start a new thread for each debt issue and stick to it, as opposed to starting a thread for every problem related to it, it just helps to keep people focused on your particular problem, and makes it all easier to read, thereby providing more help, and try to stick mainly to the issues concerning the debt, rather than moving off into trivia, i hope this doesn't sound harsh, its not meant to, i just think you will get much more help from the forum if you do it this way,
and others will then learn from the postings on your threads.
Regards CCM

I have been watching this forum for a number of weeks learning as much as I can to help deal with the appalling state into which I have been driven at a time of my life when things should have been settled for me and I ought to be enjoying a peaceful retirement watching my child grow into being a man and just about outliving my dogs, (yes I do have ten).

I can’t say that I have had to fight all my life, in fact I’ve been quite blessed but that only seems to have made my present position more frightful by contrast. Not sure what good if any that this will do but I have encountered your posts on many occasions during the past weeks and it is the case that you do offer hope to others so what you do here has some point.

The catastrophic type of thinking you describe in your post is worrying to me dealing with it used to be my area of expertise and so, if I can help I will gladly do what I can. PM me if you think it might help.

Forgotton one, I was at my lowest last year, no where to run to and no one to talk to, plus lots of money issues and my son to take care of as well.
Single parent, under 30 in a town where I knew no one at all, different from your situation but I understand what you mean. Having nightmares about money if you do sleep, or just not sleeping. On top of living in haunted flat but thats another story!

I felt so low but I joined a friend website thingy, met lots of new friends and started having a life again. Once my mood changed I knew I could then approach the other issues.

I cant make it better sadly, but I can offer an ear and who knows maybe some advice.

I havent read your own personal debt threads but will do when I get chance.

Without knowing more I cant really say much, but am hear even if you want to shout at a person.

Forgotton one you need to see a gp. A short term antidepressant will take away this feeling of doom and gloom. Yes I know you feel you are in a hopeless situation and your brain must be completely bogged down but this will help you see clearer and therefore be able to have the coping mechanism that you need to fight these swines. I know all about it. Been there, still coming through it and yes its hard but with the right type of help you will be stronger. Please see your gp. Doesnt necessarly need to be a psychiatrist/psychologist or anything. As well as my mental health issues I suddenly developed panic attacks. Something I never understood before. They were mega and uncontrollable. I HAD to see someone there and then as I was frightened of this feeling and of being alone for any length of time. I got some sort of antidepressant that took the attacks away completely. Im not saying "if you are down then pills are everyone's answer" but when you seem as low as you do then you need something to regain back rational thoughts. Take Care and you can judge for yourself that people are taking the time to care about you. We dont even know you and we care!!! Please realise that.
