Default Chasing dept and Pregancy

My wife is pregnant at the moment and has at least another 3 months to go, we are currently being hounded by dept collection agencies which I am working on, however someone mentioned to me that while she was pregnant they couldn't chase us. Is this true?

Hi Chris, I don't think that is the case. One of the regulars on the forum, Godmother, has had a child quite recently and as far as I can tell she didn't have any let-up in the fight with the DCAs. I can say, however, that you will find all the help you need here and many strategies to help you defend yourself and your family.

Remember never talk to them, always communicate in writing and I've found that signing up for a sipgate VOIP 'phone with an answering system(it cost nothing) and giving that number to the DCAs acts as a buffer and gives you a log of the calls. It's a small idea I picked up from one of the threads here and it's a blinder.

Best wishes with the fight and enjoy the baby.
